Monica Blachnio is a Vancouver based character designer, animator, and life drawing enthusiast. Since graduating from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a Bachelor of Media Arts in 2014, she has taught a variety of classes in animation, media arts, and visual arts for children. ​Her first debut film, “The Boy With No Time”, 2014, is about a scared young boy conquering his fears in the name of friendship. When not drawing or animating, Monica enjoys wilderness walks, experimenting with nail art and is an avid reader of literature.
